Casa Lilly is a marvelous Bed and Breakfast in the heart of lively Havana. This family run hostel (Casa as they are called in Cuba) started in 1994 when Cuba opened doors to the world. The country wasgoing through its biggest economic crises and this was one of the fewprivate businesses that were (and still are) allowed for Cubans tohave. Lilly and her family hosted independent travelers for somedollar income, a coin that was introduced in the country around thatperiod. With time they were able to repaint the apartment, renovatethe beautiful family antique furniture and acquired the modern artthat creates the Casa's charm nowadays.
Lilly comes from an artistic and professional family which comes veryhandy for those curious travelers who want to learn more about Cubanculture. English, German, French and Spanish are fluently spoken.
